Description Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London, Imaging Department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a 3 Tesla Vida MRI scanner, Somatom Force CT, GE LOGIQ 10 ultrasound, Siemens general X-ray, a Hologic mammography unit, and an iDXA scanner. We support a wide range of imaging specialties. As a Bank/Casual Worker, you will provide cover across the service. You will carry out day-to-day duties in line with local policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment and delivering a high standard of customer/service user care. Key responsibilities Undertake all imaging procedures in line with existing modality guidelines in accordance with best practise (IRMER2017), CQC standards, SOR and RCR guidelines Highly developed specialist Diagnostic radiography knowledge Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation (paper/electronic) in line with policy. Provide a courteous, professional service to customers/service users, colleagues and visitors. Follow health and safety requirements, including reporting hazards/incidents and using equipment safely. Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements when handling information. Work independently where appropriate and escalate issues to the shift lead/manager. Build and sustain professional relationships as part of the Imaging team as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Complete mandatory training and comply with relevant policies (e.g., safeguarding where applicable). Be flexible to work a range of shifts (days/nights/weekends) as required, subject to your availability. Carry out other reasonable duties within your competence, as required to support the service. Qualifications Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent. Current valid HCPC (Health Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiography Care Professional Council) registration is required. Trained to cannulate and administer contrast agents that are required. The right to work in the UK Able to converse in English.
