Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a skilled team of maintenance engineers across planned and reactive maintenance.
* Manage critical breakdowns and maintenance activities across specialist plant and heavy equipment.
* Oversee contractors, statutory inspections and health & safety compliance.
* Ensure availability of critical spares and coordinate capex projects.
* Mentor apprentices, issue permits and uphold high maintenance standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Mechanically qualified – ideally to HND level.
* Proven track record in managing maintenance within heavy engineering sectors such as recycling, manufacturing, waste treatment, quarrying, steel processing and oil & gas.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
Location: Easily commutable from most parts of the West Midlands.
