Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will join a close-knit finance team responsible for maintaining high standards of financial control and reporting. About you Qualified or Part Qualified Accounts Technician (AAT, IATI or equivalent) At least 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines Legally authorised to work in the UK What you'll do Prepare and post journals, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with the preparation of management accounts and month-end reporting Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns Maintain sales and purchase ledger records, resolving any discrepancies as required Assist with year-end processes and support external auditors with information requests Process cash book transactions and ensure financial data is recorded accurately Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance projects and process improvements For further information on this opportunity, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
