We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Vocational Support Practitioner (VSP) to join our Construction & Building Environment team within our Carpentry Specialism. You will work closely with teaching staff to support learners in practical workshop sessions, helping to create a safe, well‑prepared, and engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry experience who enjoys hands‑on work and supporting others to succeed. This exciting role will include: Supporting teachers and learners within a classroom and practical workshop setting. Preparing workshops with appropriate materials, tools, and equipment ready for use. Coaching and supporting learners during practical carpentry activities. Tidying workshops after sessions and supporting the maintenance of tools and equipment. If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you: Industry experience within carpentry or construction. Relevant City & Guilds Carpentry qualifications (or equivalent). A strong work ethic with a practical, hands‑on approach. An interest in working with learners and developing a career within education.
