Senior Graphic Designer Role
You will take the lead in creating and executing high‑quality design projects across print, digital, and motion platforms. This role requires a seasoned designer with strong creative instincts and strategic thinking skills, capable of producing work that aligns with brand identities while meeting client expectations. You’ll be expected to balance creativity with practicality, ensuring designs are both visually compelling and effective in achieving project goals. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and fellow creatives to produce high‑quality designs that reflect meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem‑solving.
Roles and Responsibilities
Creative Design & Execution
* Take ownership of design briefs, conceptualising and executing creative solutions across various projects, including marketing collateral, branding, social media, print assets, motion graphics, and presentations.
* Develop visually appealing designs that align with brand guidelines, campaign goals, and client objectives.
Concept Development & Innovation
* Collaborate on campaign ideation, contributing fresh, innovative ideas that align with brand strategies.
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating innovative techniques to enhance projects.
Client Engagement
* Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver designs that exceed expectations.
* Present creative concepts confidently, articulating design decisions with professionalism and clarity.
Collaboration & Teamwork
* Work closely with creative directors, art directors, writers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality results.
* Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques, offering strategic insights and constructive feedback.
Mentorship & Leadership
* Mentor junior designers by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative, growth‑focused team environment.
* Serve as a role model for maintaining high standards of creativity and professionalism.
Project Management & Organisation
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
* Maintain an organised approach to managing tasks, files, deadlines, and project priorities for efficient workflow.
* Work closely with the Project Manager to approve briefs via Monday.com and allocate work.
Brand Consistency & Quality Control
* Ensure brand guidelines and visual identity standards are consistently applied across all projects.
* Review designs for accuracy, quality, and consistency, ensuring files are correctly formatted for production and meet industry standards.
Technical Expertise
* Demonstrate excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
* Produce high‑quality solutions tailored to both digital and print mediums.
Attention to Detail & Craftsmanship
* Maintain a meticulous eye for detail and craftsmanship throughout the entire design process, from initial concept to final execution.
Interpersonal Skills
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Be open to feedback and demonstrate adaptability when revising designs to meet evolving needs.
Reporting directly to the Executive Design Director, you’ll also benefit from mentorship and guidance from other Design Directors, ensuring ample opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
* Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field.
* Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.) and other relevant design tools (PowerPoint, etc.).
* Strong skills with relevant AI tools including generative image, video creation, and text generation.
* Strong skills in motion graphics and animation.
* Expertise in brand identity design, including brand identity creation and execution.
* Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and conceptual thinking.
* Keen eye for detail and ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate design concepts effectively.
* Strong leadership abilities with the ability to lead junior members of the team.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on design concepts.
* Attend meetings and presentations to present work confidently and gather feedback.
* Excellent presentation skills to explain design rationale clearly to clients.
* Manage and track timelines when necessary to ensure project deadlines are met.
* Passion for pushing the boundaries of design with creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.
