Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Harlow
Job Duties:
* Assist the primary school teacher in delivering lessons and providing support to students.
* Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
* Provide individual or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
* Assist in managing student behaviour and maintaining discipline.
* Support students with special educational needs or disabilities, following guidance from the teacher.
* Monitor and record students' progress and report any concerns to the teacher.
Required Qualifications:
* Must have a minimum of a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Knowledge and Skills:
* Patience and the ability to work effectively with young children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic knowledge of educational practises and effective classroom management techniques.
* Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students.
* Proficiency in using common computer software and technology.
* Valid driving licence to enable you to commute to a wide range of schools (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in child development or education-related fields.
* Qualifications with transferable skills
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily takes place within a primary school setting.
* Typical working hours follow the school schedule, Monday to Friday, typically 8:30am to 3:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
