Job purpose The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing and developing the business at the PHINIA Gillingham Plant and the Fuel System PBU. They will work towards acquiring new customers to the business, as well as expanding the portfolio of products and services provided to existing customers. Business Development Manager will provide guidance and recommendations to Business Management Team concerning commercial matters by using their in-depth understanding of company's product portfolio, business operations and data analysis. The Business Development Manager will act as a business interface for the FS PBU and commercial relationship manager with our Joint Venture/Partner DTVS, being the primary point of contact for any DTVS inter-company matters. They will have responsibility for all business processes relating to DTVS, working cross functionally with different plants and departments to ensure smooth business relationship. Additional responsibilities of the Business Development Manager is to undertake the role of plant Program Manager ensuring compliance of Plant & Customer related projects to the Global PDP (Product Development Process) & Change Management processes. They will also lead Management reviews of key local Projects and report accordingly. Key responsibilities Support new "VPIP" Products - providing costs and business cases for future product strategies and manufacturing footprint. Support EMEA Sales Team in Business Pursuits, as well as providing support to all other regions where products are factored and supplied from EMEA region. This may include assistance with costs, business cases and Interco transfer prices. Manage Customer Change requests through Quote Approval process and support the Sales team with Quote preparation. Manage Appropriation Request approvals for Business Win and agreed customer change requests through cost coordination, consolidation, business cases proposals and by preparing and supporting internal reviews. Support with cost coordination, consolidation and business case preparation for Project Phase Gates. Offer support to Project Managers in deciphering business cases and data. Support with Material Cost Improvements, Total Cost Management and Footprint transfers by coordination and consolidating costs for business cases, to assist in management strategy and direction. Manage the commercial relationship with our joint venture partners, DTVS, ensuring all processes and protocols are followed as per the license & inter-company agreements. Act as a liaison between Tech Centers, Plants and DTVS, managing all aspects of the working relationship and ensuring all relevant business processes are followed. Manage the implementation of all commercial agreements between PHINIA and DTVS across the business, acting as single point of contact for all matters relating to DTVS. Manage Program Management for the Plant in accordance to PDP & Change management processes.
