Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. A relocation package may be available (terms and conditions apply).

You will be working within a team of experienced engineers supporting the delivery, assessment, and testing of warhead electrical/electronic systems and components.
The main purpose of this role is to provide electronic engineering expertise to the Warhead Engineering sub-function, in support of AWE programmes. You will apply engineering methods, tools and processes to complex warhead
engineering tasks and provide guidance and mentoring to inexperienced engineers about the practical use of engineering methods, tools and processes.
There may be the opportunity for occasional overseas travel.
HND supported by extensive practical experience) in electrical/electronic engineering, followed by relevant experience.
Experience in the designing, testing, and fault-finding of electrical/electronic circuits, with the ability to analyse and assess existing designs.
Knowledge of the application of electronics to defence systems.
Proven track record of delivery, performance and continuous improvement.
You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
9 - day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
