Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - South Bucks - September 2025
Within this role, you may be asked to carry out intervention tasks to support students lacking confidence as well as assisting students who need additional support with their learning. The schools are looking for like-minded individuals who will settle within the setting and be able to continue their hard work with the students. Kind, caring, nurturing and fair personalities are qualities the schools are looking for to add to their team.
If you are looking for an HLTA role from September 2025 in South Bucks then this could be the role for you. This role will include leading classes and developing children's skills in their learning. A HLTA will be expected to teach and cover classes in teacher's absences using their planning to continue students learning without disruption.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - South Bucks
The senior leadership team are supportive and hands-on to support their students and ensure the utmost development in order to grow and thrive.
Hours will be 8:30 and 3:30
Long-term and Permanent contracts available

You will be supporting pupils across the school and working outside the classroom in extracurricular activities. Your skills and experience will be put to the test by supporting the learning and development of each pupil dedicated to you, ensuring they are encouraged, supported and managed in an effective manner to meet their needs.
What we look for in a HLTA
Highly motivated
Hold HLTA status or have previous teaching assistance experience desired.
Flexible and adaptable
Have the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents
Reliable with good time keeping
Caring and kind nature with a desire to work with children
Adhere to school policies and follow planning when set
Assess pupil progress
