Salary: Minimum £60,000, negotiable

As an Accounts Manager, you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of non-audit clients across various industries. You will work closely with business owners to provide expert financial guidance and manage the Accounts team. If you are ambitious, motivated, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and review annual accounts and tax computations for a diverse client portfolio.
* Ensure timely filing of accounts and tax returns with relevant authorities.
* Maintain accurate accounting records and provide management figures as needed.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and offering expert advice.
* Stay up to date with cloud accounting software and advise clients on best practices.
* Oversee VAT returns, payrolls, and compliance with tax regulations.
* Proactively manage client queries and liaise with HMRC when necessary.
* Support the day-to-day management of a growing department and mentor junior team members.
* Identify opportunities for business development and attend networking events.
Requirements for Success:
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
* Self-motivated, highly organized, and proactive.
* Strong communication skills and confidence at all levels.
* Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Adaptability and professionalism under pressure.
* Passion for delivering outstanding client service.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teams and senior management.
* Solid understanding of accounting regulations, tax compliance, VAT, and PAYE.
* Supervisory experience and mentoring skills.
