To undertake Oral Health Surveys for adults and children in Nottinghamshire
You must be GDC registered, an active NHS performer number would be desirable but not essential
Main duties of the job
Nottinghamshire CDS CIC are undertaking a dental census survey of 5-year-old children within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County primary schools. The survey aims to measure the prevalence and severity of dental caries among 5-year-old children within each local authority area.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists to be part of the epidemiology fieldwork examining team involved with the examination and collection of dental data from participating 5 year old school children.
Previous experience in epidemiology is helpful, but not essential.
All training will be provided on the National protocol and clinical criteria as part of the calibration process in the East Midlands.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a dental census programme.
