The Demand & Process Lead role oversees all new project demand, resource requirement, and application delivery processes. Application Delivery is composed of Application Solutions, Digital Factory, and Transversal Application Services with this role works across the areas.

As the Demand & Process Lead across Application Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in enabling smooth delivery and operations across several areas. Your responsibilities will encompass supply and demand management of resources, project estimations, project mobilisation in partnership with project managers, financial management, and process management for Application Delivery. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills.

What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?


* Application Delivery Project Demand intake for complex pieces of work requiring a cross functional teams to deliver.
* Responsible to assess demand including creation of estimates, resource needs, contribute inputs into the creation of business cases, and understanding the customer needs.
* Clear communication back to customers around where the demand is within the pipeline.
* Coordination with GT Application Delivery Teams, GT CTO Team, and Cloud teams on demand management and project mobilisation.
* Work closely with product owners, scrum masters of agile product squads (and other stakeholders) and project managers of waterfall project to forecast and coordinate need for additional resources in line with approved budgets for resources.
* Investigate, analyse, and recommend cost effective resource solutions for relevant assignments, including considerations across internal and external sources and from current and new worldwide locations.
* Understand department’s resource demand and capacity on in- flight projects as well as planned work, for projects and non-project work.
* Prepare analysis for the department on over/ under utilisation of resources and provide recommendations.
* Proactively plan for resource demand over a 6-month horizon
* Owns GT Application Delivery process around project estimations, resource planning, and portfolio management.
* Work closely with IT finance team and PMO to manage project financials, e.g. Strategic financial planning and budgeting of Digital Factory, forecasting and actuals tracking, charge-back, funding requests, etc.)
* Provide financial reports and analysis to support decision-making related to resource allocation and budget management.
* Centralised small change budget ownership, planning, and tracking partnering with application delivery teams.
* Application Delivery Process Management, Process Development, and Rollout of Process Changes
* Maintenance of centralised application delivery processes and site to maintain processes.
* Application Delivery Budget Management including tracking purchase orders to budget.

The Demand & Process Lead will report to the Head of Application Demand & Operations.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field and/or prior experience working within the technology industry or related sectors. Master's degree is a plus.
* Project Management and Agile Methologies experience.
* Process Management expertise.
* Budget Management experience.
* Workforce Planning expertise.
* Knowledge of scaled agile methodologies (SAFe certification is desirable) and waterfall methodologies, resources management, forecasting techniques, financial management, and project estimattions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage conflicts and promote a collaborative team environment.
* Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities.
* Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing challenges.
* Familiarity with agile tools and software, such as Planview, JIRA, Confluence, and COUPA.
