Management Accountant
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a key role supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting activities, and providing insight to stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
* Provide analysis and commentary on business performance to senior leadership.
* Assist with cost control, margin analysis, and financial modelling.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure strong financial controls.
* Work closely with operational teams to support decision-making.
* Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
Skills & Experience
* Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Confident communicator with experience presenting financial information.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems is advantageous.
