Take the Lead in Sales for a Growing Heat Exchanger Business
As we continue to grow both locally and globally, we are looking for a highly experienced and sales-driven Sales Manager to play a key role in expanding our business and strengthening customer partnerships.
Xchanger Services is part of the Vestas aircoil group; a global, family-owned manufacturing company with Danish roots and nearly 70 years of expertise in engine cooling solutions. With operations across Europe, the US, and China, we combine strong technical know-how with an international presence.
As part of our continued UK expansion, we are preparing to open a new 55,000 sq. ft. production facility in Peterlee. This investment strengthens our ability to serve customers more efficiently and creates a strong platform for further commercial growth. The Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially focused Sales Manager who thrives on winning new business and driving growth. This is a national, customer-facing role requiring flexibility to travel across the UK. You will take ownership of developing new business opportunities and managing key customer accounts, while also providing technical support and commercial guidance across a range of industries.
You will work closely with our sales, estimating, project, and production teams to ensure successful execution of projects and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business development and actively pursue sales opportunities
* Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships
* Identify market trends and convert opportunities into sales
* Carry out technical site visits and represent the company professionally
* Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare competitive offers
* Lead contract negotiations and close deals
* Manage and coordinate projects internally with project and production teams
Who You Are
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with a clear commercial mindset
* 5–10 years of proven experience in sales or business development within heat exchanger industry
* Technically capable, with solid problem-solving skills and understanding of engineering principles
* Demonstrated ability to drive sales and win new business
* Ability to analyse market trends and act on opportunities
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Relevant technical or business qualification (HND, degree, or equivalent experience)
