Role Overview
This role involves providing on-site support for generator systems within the designated region, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition through maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in both workshop and field environments
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Perform servicing and maintenance on generator units and related equipment
* Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot technical issues
* Carry out repairs both on-site and off-site as needed
* Maintain accurate records and complete reports in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
* Build strong relationships with customers and team members
* Uphold a professional approach in all work activities
* Take responsibility for health and safety in line with company policies
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong mechanical background
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator servicing and repair
* Familiarity with engines, alternators, control panels, and electrical schematics
* Ability to work independently or within a team
* Full UK driving license
* Proficiency in fault diagnosis and problem-solving
* Computer literacy, including MS Office
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and environments
