Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a psychology graduate interested in working with children with behavioural and mental health needs? We have numerous schools across Camden seeking confident and proactive graduates with a good understanding of child mental health to work as teaching assistants.
As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1-to-1 basis during the school day. Pupils will be aged 5-11 years and may have identified behaviour, SEMH, SEN, including ASD needs, requiring full-time support. Your role will involve working in classrooms, in specialist mentoring sessions, and during some break times. Some pupils may display challenging behaviour, and schools will provide training in suitable interventions and approaches. You will work closely with the school's SENCO, senior management team, and external agencies such as therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS.
To qualify for this role, you must:
* Be a Psychology Graduate
* Have experience in CAMHS or child mental health services
* Be passionate about supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs
