As the Commissioning Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our Commissioning projects and ensuring the seamless operation of our engineering teams. Your ability to manage, communicate, and optimize project processes will contribute significantly to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Support: Provide day-to-day support to our engineers, offering technical guidance, and ensuring their efficiency and productivity.
* Team Leadership: Foster a culture of high performance by conducting regular team meetings, 1-2-1 performance reviews, and appraisals.
* Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for administrative and engineering issues during projects and maintain strong communication channels between engineers, office staff, and clients.
* Technical Expertise: Offer technical support for the admin team in developing commissioning reports and review commissioning reports for accuracy and completeness before client delivery.
* Safety and Compliance: Develop risk assessments and method statements for each Commissioning project and conduct site surveys to ensure safety and compliance.
* Project Management: Oversee the daily progress of Commissioning projects, manage equipment, and calculate department wages.
* Administrative Support: Assist in, invoice processing, and approval of engineer holiday requests.
* Budget and Schedule Adherence: Ensure projects run smoothly on time, and within budget, and liaise with clients to manage project documents and minimize delays.
* Financial Accountability: Help minimize debt by ensuring accurate and timely paperwork alongside invoices and identify opportunities for upselling and further works on-site.
* CRM Usage: Proficiency in using the internal CRM system and adherence to establish processes.
* Client Retention: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to enhance client retention.
* Health and safety: The Health and Safety Manager for Project and Engineer Training will play a key role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs for our project managers and engineers. This position involves planning, organizing, and delivering training, as well as monitoring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

* Proficiency in budget and schedule management.
