Our client, a long-established and highly respected engineering workshop, is seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join their team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality stainless steel and mild steel components within a busy and well-equipped workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG welding experience, good fabrication skills, and the ability to work from engineering drawings to produce accurate finished components. What’s on Offer? Job type: Full time, permanent Location: Marden, Kent Salary: £39,520 to £49,400 per annum Comprehensive benefits package: 25 days of holiday ( bank holidays), overtime available Key Responsibilities: MIG/ TIG welding on stainless and mild steel General fabrication including cutting, drilling, grinding, and prepping Assembly of fabricated units and components Working from engineering drawings to complete work accurately Operating workshop machinery such as grinders, drills, saws, and plasma cutters Completing fabrication jobs from start to finish Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Proven MIG/TIG welding experience Background in fabrication or workshop environments Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings Experience working with stainless and mild steel Ability to commute reliably to Marden (car preferred due to rural location) Our Ideal Candidate: Someone who enjoys hands-on workshop work, takes pride in producing high-quality fabrications, and can work independently on start-to-finish projects.
