ABOUT YOU:
You are a highly experienced Coating Inspector with recognised certification (AMPP/NACE or Frosio Level 2) and strong knowledge of industry standards, inspection techniques, and QA/QC processes. With a solid background in oil & gas and naval projects, you bring technical expertise, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and ethical working practices.
Required skills and experience:
1. Relevant technical certification or trade qualification
2. Experience in industrial coating applications and inspections
3. Knowledge of applicable standards such as:
* SSPC / AMPP
* NACE
* ISO
* ASTM
4. Coating inspection certification preferred (e.g., AMPP/NACE Coating Inspector)
5. Certified NACE level II or as alternative: NS/476/Frosio Level 2
6. Minimum 10 years of experience in the O&G industry
7. Minimum 6 years of experience in Coating, Naval Industry as Coating Inspector.
8. IT: Good knowledge of MS Office Package
9. Facilities: Excellent knowledge of welding and NDT techniques, basic knowledge of metallurgy and welding engineering principles, good knowledge of pressure vessel/piping inspection and certification requirements (PED etc)
