Fulbridge Social Care - Residential Youth Worker Positions
Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviours, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skill set to work effectively with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programmes before placements are offered.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

8. Write accurate reports and maintain records for monitoring
9. Attend training and achieve relevant qualifications
10. Arrive punctually and follow a set shift pattern
11. Stay informed about procedures and policies
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others
13. Perform additional relevant duties as required
