Job Description

FANTASTIC opportunity for a first- or second-jobber looking to build a career in marketing, particularly within the property world.

Our client is a fast-growing, subscription-based support and information business operating across the Property and Art sectors, with clients throughout London, the UK, and internationally. They are now seeking a Marketing & Office Administrator to join their young, vibrant team based in South West London.

With low staff turnover, the business prides itself on a relaxed, friendly atmosphere combined with strong professionalism and ambition. The team operates like an extended family, and this role offers the chance to become a truly valued member of the business—supporting key marketing initiatives, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone highly organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You will split your time between marketing support (80%) and office administration (20%), switching comfortably between creative, administrative, and people-focused tasks while developing your skillset.

Marketing Responsibilities (Approx. 80%)

Marketing will form the core of this role, supporting high-quality client communications and events.

\t
* Client retention initiatives: Assisting with integrated marketing campaigns and executing activities that support retention goals

\t

* Client communications: Creating templates, producing engaging copy, and working with the Content Manager to distribute newsletters, research publications, updates, and other scheduled communications

\t

* Marketing asset design: Producing visually engaging, on-brand materials including emails, landing pages, flyers, and digital banners

\t

* Website updates: Keeping key marketing channels current and aligned with business objectives

\t

* Events support: Coordinating logistics and providing end-to-end marketing support for internal events, prospecting activities, customer events, webinars, seasonal staff gatherings, and the annual Summer Party

\t

* Data and CRM support: Working with the CRM Manager to build segmented contact lists, track campaign performance, and produce clear reports and insights

Office Administration Responsibilities (Approx. 20%)

As a central point of contact within the business, you will help ensure the office runs smoothly and professionally.

\t
* General office management: Maintaining the appearance and smooth running of the Battersea office, meeting and greeting visitors, and preparing refreshments

\t

* Documentation & compliance: Supporting the documentation, review, and communication of company procedures and policies (e.g. Health & Safety, GDPR) alongside Directors and Department Heads

\t

* Internal communications: Sending staff communications such as appraisals, performance reviews, bonus forms, and team updates

\t

* Staff events: Supporting internal events (see Marketing section)

\t

* Charities ambassador: Managing relationships with appointed charities and encouraging staff engagement

\t

* Key meetings: Organising and minuting key meetings, including monthly Executive and Board meetings

About You

\t
* Some marketing experience is required (however small), ideally gained in an office environment

\t

* An interest in the property market is preferred but not essential

\t

* A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine eagerness to learn

\t

* Strong communication skills with a creative edge and confident copywriting ability

\t

* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

\t

* Enjoys helping others and working collaboratively across teams

\t

* Experience with CRM systems (particularly HubSpot) is advantageous

\t

* Knowledge of the central London property market would be beneficial

Curiosity and collaboration are key traits—you’ll work closely with in-house experts and commercial teams to build your understanding of the business, its services, and its markets.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to join a friendly, inclusive, and collaborative team where hard work is recognised, fresh thinking is encouraged, and individuals are supported in their professional growth.
