Salary: £43,693 – £45,718 per annum for 37 hours (pro rata for part time) plus MRS £1,500 per annum, reviewed annually.
Enhancements / additional payments details: 7% rotating shift and 10.5% night working enhancements.
Responsibilities
* Work across service areas independently, prioritising your workload and taking initiative.
* Operate within the boundaries of codes of practice and practice standards.
* Have excellent knowledge of children’s safeguarding and the ability to provide services during out-of-office hours.
* Assess the urgency of service requests and respond appropriately to ensure children are not left at risk.
* Record events clearly and concisely, working closely with partners such as the police, health services, foster carers, and senior managers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Be a Social Work qualified practitioner and SWE registered.
* Have significant experience working with children, young people, and their parents/carers.
* Possess a strong knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to apply it in practice.
Be able to transfer your knowledge and skills into new situations effectively.
* Have IT skills to support accurate and timely case recording.
* Hold a full and valid driving licence, and be able to use a car for travel; exceptions may be made for disabled applicants.
