Your new role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process and delivering accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with preparation of management accounts and variance analysis.
2. Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.
3. Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate ledgers.
4. Preparing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
5. Collaborating with operational teams to provide financial insight.
6. Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and projects to improve reporting efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying.
8. Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
9. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar desirable).
10. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
11. Strongmunication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
12. Previous experience in retail, luxury goods, or manufacturing is advantageous.
