🍽️ School Chef - Margate - £18 per hour
Are you passionate about creating nutritious, delicious meals for young people? We're looking for a dedicated School Chef to join a vibrant school community in Margate .
📍 Location: Margate
💷 Pay: £18 per hour
🕒 Hours: Term-time only, Monday to Friday (daytime hours)
What you'll do:
* Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for students and staff
* Plan menus in line with dietary requirements and school guidelines
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
* Manage food stock and place orders as needed
* Work closely with kitchen assistants and school staff
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a chef or cook (school or catering experience preferred)
* A passion for food and nutrition
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A positive, can-do attitude and a love for working with children
