Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed business based on the outskirts of York.
As a Management Accountant you will deliver accurate and timely financial information, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and control. The role offers a clear pathway to step up into a Finance Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Business partnering with operational teams to support performance
* Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
* Supporting year‑end processes and audit preparation
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
About You
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
* Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments
* Experience in a manufacturing or SME environment is desirable
* Ambitious and ready to take the next step in your career
