As a Specialist Social Worker, you will be part of a small and committed team focused in the fields of child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, missing and contextual safeguarding. The Specialist Social Workers are non-case however, require you to have oversight and support Children and Families staff and wider partners to consider innovative approaches to complex casework.
Requirements
Specialist Social Workers are integral in developing relationships and working alongside multi-agency partners to ensure the right outcomes for children. You will have the opportunity to attend varied and bespoke training in child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, missing, contextual safeguarding and private fostering to further your own CPD as well as sharing learning within the wider workforce. The specialist social work team is committed to working with children and their families/carers, using a range of solution-focused, strength-based relationship practice models, including Signs of Safety, Systemic theory and the Family Finding approach. We are looking for an individual who can help us continue to offer a unique service and truly make a difference to the young people of our county.
