We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity that has opened up for an (Mechanical) Engineer within our clients manufacturing facility, in Irvine. The ideal candidate will be a time-served engineer with a background in mechanical engineering; basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Prepare cold end equipment for job changes, ensuring it meets the required specifications for the new task. Participate in job changes by setting up and adjusting cold end equipment to maintain efficient operations during and after the transition. Identify and resolve mechanical faults in cold end equipment to enhance efficiency and minimise downtime. Modify and adjust cold end equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations and reduce downtime. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow established protocols. Maintain a keen attention to detail in maintenance tasks. Required Skills / Qualifications: Time-served Engineer with a mechanical engineering background. Experience in a role that requires multi-disciplinary skills is preferred. Proficient in computer skills. Strong oral and written communication abilities. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Good understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and continuous improvement practices. Awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations, including conducting risk assessments.
