We are working with a fantastic Healthcare related organisation looking to recruit a Compliance Lead specialising in Visas & Sponsorships on a fixed-term contract basis. Due to the nature of the organisation, they have a significant number of employees that they sponsor or who are on visas. This is a crucial role ensuring everything from sponsorship licences to visa renewals runs smoothly and meets UKVI standards.
You will be the go-to expert for all things immigration, working with internal teams, legal advisors, and the Home Office to keep things fully compliant, well-documented, and stress-free for employees.
Package:
* 6 Month FTC, full-time
* £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Doncaster, hybrid - weekly travel further afield will be required across South & North Yorkshire (sepcific locations), exact number of days out and about will vary weekly
The role:
* Leading on all visa, sponsorship, and right-to-work matters
* Managing the Home Office Sponsor Management System (SMS)
* Liaising with colleagues around visa expiry and renewals
* Supporting workforce planning and identifying immigration-related risks
* Advising managers and the wider People team on immigration processes and legislation
* Keeping meticulous records and improving/updating internal guidance
* Undertaking audits of existing right to work data
* Reviewing process and approach
About you (essential):
* In-depth understanding of UKVI and Home Office regulations
* Experience of managing and advising on UK immigration processes, including skilled worker visas, certificates of sponsorship and right to work checks.
* Strong understanding of UK right to work legislation and audit processes
* Confident using HRIS and the SMS portal
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Driving licence (due to occasional travel to various sites)
About you (desirable):
* Experience working in the Care or Health sector
* Previous HR advisory or generalist experience
* CIPD Level 5 (or above)
