Description
Priory Hospital Wokingis looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join the team. This is a part time 15 hoursrole.
Priory Hospital Woking provides leading inpatient and outpatient care for mental health and addiction. We treat a range of conditions, including addiction, depression and offer private autism assessments and support for adults. Specialist eating disorder treatment is also available nearby at Life Works.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
* Provides efficient and effective administrative and/or secretarial support to an individual or a department, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
* Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
* Greets and assists all arrivals promptly at the Priory unit, and ensures that they are treated in a courteous, pleasant and efficient manner, and directed accordingly.
* Ensures that all telephone calls into main reception / switchboard are dealt with promptly and efficiently within Priory operational standards.

What you'll bring to the role

The ideal candidate should hold an NVQ Level 1 in a relevant area or GCSEs (Grades A-C) or an equivalent qualification. They should have experience working in a customer-facing environment and possess strong keyboard skills, along with an intermediate level of proficiency in standard office applications. Additionally, one year’s work experience in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational, or similarly appropriate setting is required.
