What you'll be doing:
* Manage operational controls, 1st line assurance activities, and technical areas to meet company objectives.
* Build and oversee a control monitoring framework to safeguard company and member assets.
* Lead the Technical, Controls, and Assurance teams to support strategic goals.
* Develop an annual control monitoring program to ensure adherence and effectiveness of controls.
* Monitor key controls and ensure project controls are in place.
* Establish a quality assurance framework for internal teams.
* Maintain a dashboard to track operational processes and assurance controls.
What we’re looking for:
* Regulatory, business, and commercial experience.
* Team management skills.
* Operational controls experience at a managerial level.
* Ability to analyze and interpret compliance reports.
* Experience managing staff, teams, and budgets.
* Background in operational or assurance roles, preferably in financial services.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and risks.
* Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined.
