Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
5. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2
Knowledge and Skills:
10. Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2
11. Effective classroom management techniques
12. Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
14. Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or EAL
Working Conditions:
15. Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend events
16. Classroom-based teaching with some administrative responsibilities
