Insight Employment are recruiting for experienced 3.5t drivers to delivery portable toilets to sites, so this position is not for the faint hearted.
Miscellaneous points
It is the drivers responsibility to load and unload their own vehicle each day.
Complete daily vehicle checks i.e. water, oil, tyres etc.
Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
Time sheets must be filled in accurately with all columns completed.
Deliveries
Check paperwork for special details, i.e. phoning ahead, arranging delivery. Giving an appx time etc.
Arrive at site, find site agent or hirer if necessary.
Locate unit on flat area with access for service vehicle with 10 - 15 ft and as few obstructions as possible.
Put loo rolls, hand sanitiser in unit and toilet blue and water in tank ensure that the unit is working properly. Airfresh/wipe round etc.
Get loo number.
Get signature.
Add any handy directions/phone numbers to paperwork to be transferred for service driver.
Servicing
Pump tank dry
Top up hand sanitizer, leave new loo rolls, replace toilet blue and water in tank, ensure that unit is working properly.
Clean and generally tidy unit.
Do any minor repairs if possible/necessary.
Sign and date service sticker.
If unable to get to loo to service either on foot or by vehicle, phone head office to get miss number.
If unable to pump loo out but able to access on foot, leave new loo rolls, top up hand sanitiser, put some blue chemical in tank and clean and tidy as usual. Sign sticker phone head offer anyway to get a part service number.
Collecting
(depending on vehicle)
Pump dry unit (if service vehicle)
Check for obvious damage - if there is then fill in damage report and get signature if possible.
If you have problems getting loo out, phone head office to inform them. Make arrangements to get loo at a later date, this can wait till you get back to your depot, or give to your depot manager to sort out.
Swapping
Sometimes it is necessary to swap a toilet over, EVERY time a toilet is swapped a "swapped toilet note" must be completed and handed to your depot manager. This is very important as head office must be aware of all toilet changes to keep our stock control system up to date.
Damages
As soon as any damage, vandalism, or theft is noticed you must fill in the damage form and get it signed as soon as possible, also inform head office.
Requirements: -
Must have a UK driving licence for more than 3 years.
Minimum of 1 years multi drop experience.
Clean driving licence is preferred, no more than 6 points no (DRs or INs).
Must be over the age of 25 (due to our insurance policy).
Must be reliable, have good personal hygiene and be well presented.
Must be happy to start early till finish.
Must be physically fit.
Excellent geographical knowledge.
