Job Summary
We seek an experienced IT Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) to own key IT supplier relationships. The role ensures contractual obligations, operational excellence, and commercial value across Serco’s global technology estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and lead effective relationships with key IT suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Manage day‑to‑day supplier performance, driving service improvement and cost efficiency.
* Collaborate with Procurement to ensure contractual commitments and opportunities for improvement.
* Analyse supplier performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
* Lead supplier onboarding, RFx activities, renewals, and ongoing contract management.
* Chair supplier performance and innovation forums, driving continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with risk, governance, and due diligence requirements.
* Support strategic supplier classification, SRM framework implementation, and process optimisation.
* Produce and present detailed financial and performance reports to senior leadership.
* Mediate between internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues swiftly.
* Drive innovation in supplier management to enhance Serco’s competitive capability.
Required Experience and Skills
* Proven experience in Supplier Relationship Management or Procurement, preferably in IT.
* Strong understanding of IT operations and ITIL frameworks.
* Experience managing multi‑million‑pound contracts, enterprise agreements, and multi‑regional relationships.
* Skilled in contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial management.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, proficient in Excel and performance reporting.
* Collaborative, proactive mindset with mediation and influencing skills.
