Design Engineer As a Design Engineer, youll create and improve products and production systems, making them more efficient and manufacturing-friendly. Youll also contribute to safety standards, reporting, and mentoring within the team. Requirements: Degree preferred, with 3 years' industry experience, though relevant experience may also qualify. Strong CAD skills (2D & 3D), ideally with Autodesk software. Solid understanding of engineering principles, stress/load calculations, and FEA. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach. Team player with flexibility and attention to cost, safety, and quality. Knowledge of trailer design or heavy engineering is an advantage. The Role Includes: Designing and re-engineering products for efficient production. Producing specifications and engineering drawings. Writing reports and contributing to design reviews.
