This is a hands-on, full-spectrum marketing role where you'll be the engine behind both our operational marketing and our long-term strategic plans. You'll create compelling content, run digital campaigns, manage internal comms, shape our brand identity, and help drive new business – all while working closely with Senior Managers, Partners and key stakeholders across the firm. Key responsibilities Content & Communications * Write and publish engaging content for our website, social media, and weekly client emails * Lead on testimonials, staff stories, and internal updates like promotions, awards, and announcements * Oversee quarterly newsletters and special publications Digital & Web * Manage our website – from SEO-driven content to refresh projects and staff page updates * Liaise with our web provider to keep things looking sharp and running smoothly * Maintain digital platforms Events & Internal Culture * Support staff briefings, induction sessions, and careers events * Coordinate attendance and presence at networking events, sponsorships, and charity initiatives * Source branded promotional items Strategic Planning * Play a leading role in our Annual Strategic Review – data analysis, competitor research, market insights * Produce reports and track progress on marketing objectives and budget proposals * Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and deliver marketing goals Collaboration & Support * Partner with our Tax, Corporate Finance, and HR teams to support campaigns, hiring, and communications * Contribute to quote documents, sponsorship negotiations, and charitable giving management * Ensure consistent brand application across all platforms and media What we’re looking for * A minimum 2 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager position * Previous experience in professional services is desirable, but not essential * The ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward * Strong copywriting and content creation skills * Experience managing websites, social media, and digital campaigns * A keen eye for detail and design * Excellent organisational and communication skills * The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines * A collaborative mindset with confidence to work across teams and levels Why Join Bates Weston?
