Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support, drive and deliver robust data analysis and reporting to support the Drinking Water Safety Plan risk assessment and the Asset Management Improvement Plan, ensuring high-quality insights from source to tap. The scope will require: The review and data capture for the salient inputs and outputs of a water treatment plant systems. The risk assessment of item 1, and the communication of this to a wider working group for the remediation of risk. The water treatment plant system is the whole source to tap view and whilst the treatment plant and the activities therein are of a high importance, knowledge of intakes/networks/reservoirs will also be required as well as water quality parameters. The risk being measured at the works is a measure of process resilience as opposed to OH&S aspects, but the principles are similar. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Gather, interpret, and model data from water treatment plants and networks. Perform quality checks, trend analysis, and statistical risk profiling. Develop reports and dashboards to support risk mitigation and planning. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance data quality. Support asset performance benchmarking and regulatory reporting. Key Requirements: Degree (Level 7 NFQ or higher) in data science, maths, engineering, or similar. Experience in large dataset management, preferably in utilities or infrastructure. Analytical thinker with high attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong Excel skills essential; familiarity with GIS, Power BI, or modelling tools a significant advantage. Experience working with infrastructure or utility datasets preferred. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
