Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Dagenham, London
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored tuition in Functional Skills Maths and/or English adapted for SEN students.
2. Support students with various learning needs, helping them build confidence and independence.
3. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to cater to each student’s unique challenges.
4. Use adaptive teaching strategies to ensure lessons are engaging and effective.
5. Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback.
Requirements:
6. Minimum 1 year of experience working as an SEN HLTA or in a professional capacity supporting SEN children.
7. Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English, tailored to children with SEN needs.
8. Right to work in the UK.
9. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
