Your new role 4 days on site Support senior colleagues with tasks such as preparing corporation tax computations and returns, as well as advisory work including capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence, and transaction/restructuring reports Assist in developing junior staff through day-to-day support and mentoring Conduct tax technical research for wider projects Handle various tax-related administrative tasks Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives Help maintain relationships with clients, HMRC, and other professional services firms to deliver excellent client service Collaborate with audit teams on annual tax assignments What you'll need to succeed Minimum 2 years' experience in a corporation tax compliance role ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and interest in studying for CTA Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge Fully conversant with compliance standards for tax and audit Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organised with ability to manage time and meet deadlines Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships quickly Professional and discreet in client care Experience with Alphatax is desirable What you'll get in return Pension scheme Group life assurance (up to four times core salary) Group income protection Health cash plan for everyday healthcare costs Option to buy up to 5 extra days holiday* Counselling and support for you and immediate family Virtual GP access for you and immediate family Cycle-to-work scheme* Shopping and gym discounts via Medicash Extras Gifts for career and family milestones One volunteering day per year to support local organisations Emergency funding available through charitable foundation What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
