Who we are

Part business, part charity, part membership body – students’ unions are all seriously fun places to work. They are organisations in their own right. Professionally run, but different. Professional teams support elected student leaders to make change, improve lives, and fulfil potential; we help make this happen.

About the Job

The Student Designer & Event Coordinator will design and create 30 physical trophies for Arts Awards 2026. They will also support the Arts SU with other design elements for the awards ceremony in May, including the event decorations and visuals.

The trophies will recognise and award the outstanding contributions that students and staff have made to the overall experience at UAL. In terms of the trophy design, it should be an object which can fit on a desk unobtrusively, is easily transportable, light enough to be held comfortably, and made to last. It should not use media that can decompose. The person in this role will also support the Arts SU team to coordinate visuals and decorations for the event, including stage and table decorations.
