The Colte Partnership have an exciting new opportunity for a receptionist to join our team at Tiptree Medical Centre, on a part-time basis for 18 - 20 hours a week. We are a friendly, busy and innovative practice in north-east Essex. The team comprise of two friendly, supportive partners and 2 salaried GPs. We have an excellent nursing team comprising 4 advanced nurse practitioners (ANPs), 5 practice nurses, 2 HCAs, 2 clinical pharmacists and 1 pharmacy technician. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Booking appointments. Greeting patients. Answering queries from patients and outside agencies and/or signposting to appropriate members of staff. Updating patient records. Processing correspondence. Liaising with patients using various types of communication methods. You will also need to have flexibility to cover other shifts. About the Candidate You will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: G ood standard of education including Maths and English. Experience of working and providing customer services. Ideally you will have reception experience, and it would be beneficial if you have experience working within primary care, however this is not essential. Strong IT skills and be able to use computer-based systems. Experience of SystmOne would be desirable, however full training will be given to a suitable candidate. Excellent communication skills both written and orally. F riendly and positive approach towards patients and other visitors either in person or over the telephone.
