We are pleased to be working with a leading brand in Hemel who are looking to add a Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant to their finance and accounting division in the Hertfordshire based HQ. 
Responsibilities
 * Management of portfolio of supplier accounts
 * Reconciling supplier accounts to supplier statements
 * Enter, verify and pay supplier invoices
 * Negotiation of credits where necessary, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries 
 * Resolving accounts on stop
 * Working to resolve supplier queries, department managers and other internal stakeholders 
 * Prepare BACS payment runs for weekly/monthly payments
 * Assist in month and year end process 
 * Cover for the Purchase Ledger Manager when required
Skills &; Experience 
 * Strong working knowledge of full MS Suite 
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to meet strict deadlines 
 * Attention to detail 
 * NetSuite experience is desirable but not essential 
 * 3 years' purchase ledger experience
