What you will need
Must be a British Citizen
Experience in compliance, regulatory, or governance roles, ideally in defence or advanced technologySalary and rewards
Circa £45,000 depending on experience plus lucrative benefits including Bonus of Up to £2,500, Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%, Overtime: opportunity for paid overtime, Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days
Your role
Ensure transfers of goods, software, technology, and information comply with UK and international export control regulations
Assess export risks and maintain accurate, auditable records
Provide guidance to stakeholders to support compliant operations across all sites
Solve regulatory challenges on advanced defence technologiesYour experience
Attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical and regulatory information accurately
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Proactive, risk-aware approach with strong problem-solving skills
You will have a Strong understanding of UK Export Control regulations and processes, including the UK Strategic Export Control Lists and OGEL/OGTCL frameworks.
Ideally have a working knowledge of US ITAR and EAR, particularly relating to re-export, retransfer, and US-origin content within UK programmes.
Where you will be based
Hitchin, Hertfordshire, with three days per week on-site in a hybrid working arrangement
