Salary of the Panel Technician / Panelbeater / Panel Beater / Welder Fabricator / Bodyshop Technician / Body shop Technician / Body shop Panel Technician / ATA Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Fitter / HGV Fitter / Coachbuilder: £45,000 - £55,000 pa depending on experience, skills and hours agreed.
Hours: 40 and 45 hours available, and finish at 3.45pm on Fridays

Are you a skilled Panel Technician who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and working to the highest standards? My client is looking for an exceptional individual to join their specialist team focused on Cars, Vans and Commercial vehicle repairs.

The role of the Panel Technician / Panelbeater / Panel Beater / Welder Fabricator / Bodyshop Technician / Body shop Technician / Body shop Panel Technician / ATA Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Fitter / HGV Fitter / Coachbuilder:
* Undertake replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels
* Removing, repairing and rebuilding accident damaged vehicles to a high standard
* Complete chassis and framework repairs
* Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate methods to produce a high quality repair
* Conduct bumper and door repair works as required
* Ensure all panel beating / repair works meet internal and third parts quality standards
* Complete all relevant paperwork for checking and repairing of vehicles
* Safely use specialist equipment and refer to methods
* Work as part of a team to ensure bodyshop operations run efficiently and safely
* MIG/MAG welding and panel repair techniques
* Commercial cab and chassis jig/pulling, commercial body fitting, tail lift, and all aspects of welding would be desirable
Skills and Qualifications for the Panel Technician / Panelbeater / Panel Beater / Welder Fabricator / Bodyshop Technician / Body shop Technician / Body shop Panel Technician / ATA Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Fitter / HGV Fitter / Coachbuilder:
* Proven experience as a panel technician in a Bodyshop or accident repair environment
* Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding and panel repair techniques
* ATA accreditation or equivalent qualification is desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
* A team player with a strong work ethic and a clear sense of accountability
* Proven experience as a panel technician in a Commercial Bodyshop or accident repair environment
* Experience in commercial cab and chassis jig/pulling, commercial body fitting, tail lift, and all aspects of welding would be desirable-but not essential
