JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Driver is to:
è Support the business by carrying out driving duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
è At the request of the fleet sales department
è Carry out a pre-delivery quality check and ensure the vehicle meets customer expectations.
è Carry out a final handover with the customer upon delivery of (sold) vehicles.
è Ensure all documentation is accurately completed in line with business standards and return to the sales, service or parts departments.
è Maintain safe working practices and standards, including driving all vehicles with due care and attention for all customers, road users and pedestrians.
è Load handling, ensure that’s good are securely loaded and protected from damage during transport
è Responsible for ensuring Driver CPC is valid
è Ensure pre-journey check reports are completed and submitted, including retaining straps
è Ensure accurate records of driving hours, mileage and delivery details to comply with UK regulations.
è Report any infringements to the Line Manager and to the Transport Manager
Skills & Requirements
Essential
è Full UK HGV driving licence – up to class C+E.
è Smart appearance.
è Competency in numeracy and literacy.
Desirable
è Advanced motoring qualification.
è Bus/coach driving licence
è Driver CPC qualifications up to date
Experience
Desirable
è Previously employed in a position of trust.
