Registered Manager

We are now recruiting a Registered Manager for our Residential service in Llandudno.

What you’ll be doing:

8. Supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs or dual diagnosis.
9. Leading the staff members to maintain a consistently high level of skilled support that’s required for the adults at the service.
10. Continue to expand the workforce by recruiting, coaching, and mentoring new team members.
11. Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive wellbeing and independent living for the people we support.
12. Be responsive to referrals and carry out assessments where needed, to ensure the service remains at a high level of occupancy.
13. Be part of an on-call system.

Who you are:

14. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership/management role.
15. QCF/NVQ level 5 or equivalent in Health & social care, or willingness/ability to work towards.
16. Experience with electronic systems and processing programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively to others.
18. Ability to collaborate and work professionally with the people we support, families, and involved professionals/agencies to provide a service that maximises positive outcomes.
19. Experience of supervising and supporting staff and deploying staff resources efficiently to meet the needs of the service.
20. Ability to conduct risk assessments with the people we support and devise support and risk management plans.
21. Having a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences, and encouraging growth
22. Embracing continuous improvement, sharing best practices with an open mind to learning
