* Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
* Support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more formal learning
* Use assessment effectively to track progress and tailor support
* Work closely with the KS1 team, support staff, and SLT
* Foster a classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking for a supportive start to their career.What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in KS1 (placement experience considered)
* Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development
* A warm, positive approach and a genuine passion for teaching
* The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
