Licensed Practical Nurse Float Pool (LPN)

What You’ll Do
* Provide nursing support and consultation with the state’s Nurse Practice Act and physician orders.
* Ensure individuals receive routine and preventative health services and medication administration is completed accurately according to regulations.
* Provide health-related education to those served and those who serve in the agency.
* Maintain and review electronic healthcare records to monitor pertinent health status, provide accurate and thorough documentation and update agency leaders as needed.
* Build effective relationships with colleagues, persons served and their providers and families/guardians.
Schedule
Days, 8‑hour shifts, can work up to 24 hours a week – required to work at least 24 hours a quarter. No holiday, on‑call or weekend hours required. Travel within Grand Island, Hastings, York, Axtell may be required – agency vehicle provided.

Qualifications
* State license required in nursing.
* Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in nursing.
* At least 1 year of nursing experience (or 3 years of CNA/CMA experience for new LPNs).
* Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
* Valid driver’s license.
