 
        An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Family office for an experienced Audit/Risk Assurance Manger to join their Legal and Governance team. In this role you will lead their internal Audit and assurance program across the group, as well as liaising with external auditors where appropriate. You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (UK ACA/ACCA or equivalent) from a recognised accounting institute, with at least 5 years experience in audit or assurance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Working with colleagues, auditors and other professional service providers to ensure timely delivery of annual audited financial statements according to an agreed annual audit timetable (20-30 entities across several different jurisdictions). Managing the preparation of financials and accounting schedules ahead of each audit. Reporting to the Audit Committee on audit and risk assurance related matters. Ability to take personal ownership and responsibility for the delivery of timely audit engagements. Documenting processes and procedures to mitigate risks, and ensure these processes are audited and followed by colleagues. You should generally have the following exposures: Be experienced in completing annual audits for offshore entities (Jersey, Guernsey, BVI, Bermuda etc.). Be experienced in preparing Financial Statements from Trial Balances, Bank Reconciliation Statements, Cash-flow statements where required, and be able to create ledger and schedules for any audit requirements. Have experience of reporting to an Audit Committee with audit reports including assurance and risk review elements, such as testing and documentation of internal controls & procedures. Preferably have working knowledge of assets typically held by a Family Office (for example, Yachts, Aircraft, Art, Car collections) and the SPV structures related to these type of assets, i. SPVs held under trust structures or Family owned companies. Preferably have experience of real-estate holding entities and related accounting issues. Working within agreed audit procedures.
