Join a leading private banking team in Guernsey as a Temporary Account Manager, providing essential support to a portfolio of private clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a client-facing role within a high-performing financial services environment. The successful candidate will work alongside Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional client service and operational support.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
•Managing day-to-day servicing of an existing book of private clients.
•Coordinating onboarding processes for new clients with the Relationship Manager.
•Processing client instructions across a range of services, including payments, foreign exchange, security trades, and deposits.
•Communicating with clients daily, handling queries and providing online banking support.
•Assisting with periodic and trigger-based risk reviews and identifying KYC/AML shortfalls.
•Supporting wider team members during peak periods and contributing to ongoing project work or large-scale system tasks.
•Identifying opportunities to cross-sell products and services and supporting the RM in lead conversion.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in a financial services environment in a client-facing capacity, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and confidently support client relationships is essential. Proficiency in Outlook and general IT systems is expected, along with a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting project-based work.
