Your Role
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Excellence & Operations, the SFE & BI Partner is a key strategic business partner who leverages data, insights, and forecasting excellence to identify opportunities and challenges across the psoriasis and core brands.
The role plays a vital role in translating complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations that shape and influence commercial direction at both national and sub‑national levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering tactical and operational analytics for the Psoriasis and Commercial Partnerships business areas, including clear reporting, insights and recommendations to support business decisions, Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR) and business planning, with defined next best actions to enhance performance.
Leading SFE analytics and reporting, covering activity, incentive schemes and territory deployment to support delivery of the sales strategy.
Ensuring market research activities comply with agreed standards and SOPs, with accurate project documentation stored centrally.
Developing and maintaining deep expertise in BI systems, providing user support, day to day dashboard management and governance, and alignment with the Strategic Insight Partner on data visualisation standards.
Defining, monitoring and analysing KPIs (including digital) to drive the right behaviours and outcomes, delivering insights to support achievement of strategic objectives.
Providing forecasting insight and expertise, partnering closely with SFE/BI, Finance, Strategic Insight and Commercial teams to deliver accurate near-term forecasts in line with financial timelines and to strengthen forecasting through improved data inputs.
Supporting development of brand specific plans as part of the B3 strategic planning process.
Proactively maintaining awareness of competitor activity and new market entrants, using data to identify risks and opportunities.
Contributing to SFE/BI continuous improvement, and wider projects as required, aligned to UKIE strategic priorities.
Your Qualifications
Degree in Business, Science or a related discipline, or equivalent by experience
Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to national and sub‑national in‑market data, Sales Force Effectiveness reporting, primary market research, digital analytics, scenario planning and KPI tracking.
Experience of automated BI and data management tools (e.g. Power BI).
Demonstrated capabilities in forecasting, including development of forecasting models and application of different approaches across brand life‑cycle stages.
Excellent data intuition and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to identify trends and communicate insights effectively through data visualisation.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools, data warehouses and CRM systems (e.g. Veeva).
Knowledge of ABPI/IPHA Codes is required
An understanding of clinical dermatology is desirable but not essential.
Experience of Commercial Partnerships (e.g. deals with retail pharmacies; wholesalers) is desirable, but not essential.
